The Aspire Women in Business Summit is a dynamic regional initiative dedicated to empowering, connecting, and inspiring women entrepreneurs and business leaders across rural Alberta. Taking place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Edson, Alberta, this summit will unite diverse voices, experiences, and expertise to spark growth, innovation, and collaboration among women in business.

This event is a joint effort between Community Futures West Yellowhead (CFWY), Community Futures Yellowhead East (CFYE), Community Futures Capital Region (CFCR), and Alberta Women Entrepreneurs (AWE). 

The Aspire Summit will feature keynote speakers addressing critical topics such as women’s participation in the labour force, workforce development, and hiring for success, alongside panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions tailored to the unique needs and opportunities of women-led businesses in rural communities. The event will also serve as a platform to highlight regional success stories and promote ongoing support through the Community Futures network.
